Hi! I’m Ethan Lewis and this is my personal blog. This blog serves as a way for me to learn new technology, share ideas and reflect on my experiences. Any thoughts/opinions shared are my own.

Here is a little about me.

I have been working in the software engineering field for 12+ years but fell in love with all things technology long before turning it into a career. I consider myself a “specialized generalist”, which to me, means that I like to learn about almost anything and I allow myself to attempt mastering topics that keep me engaged. My current focus is in all things distributed computing, but in a past life, I was focused mainly on computer visualization.

Outside of technology my passions are:

• Dirt biking
• Hiking
• Disc golf
• Esports
• Working on cars
• Remodeling my home

I am married to my soulmate and we have 2 beautiful daughters that have been by far the biggest motivators in my professional and personal life.
